AJERMAN SELECTED FOR RUTH BORCHARD SELF PORTRAIT EXHIBITION

Michael Ajerman (showing at HemingwayArt 30 April - 4 June 2017) has been selected for the prestigious Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize 2017 in London.

The winner of the prize will be announced by the judges on 17 May 2017.

His self portrait Poco Pittore is an oil painting on board, and was produced between 2015 and 2016. It measures 25 x 20 cm.

'Celebrating contemporary British and Irish self-portraiture, the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize offers a unique opportunity for new and established artists alike to compete for a £10,000 prize, and the chance for their work to be purchased for the Ruth Borchard Next Generation Collection. 

2017 will be the fourth edition of the biennial Prize, and the fourth exhibition of the 120 long-listed works at Kings Place.'

Ajerman's self portrait will be exhibited alongside the other artist self portraits at Piano Nobile, Kings Place, Kings Cross, London in May 2017. More info here
