She won the 2016 Dan Hemingway Short Story Prize for 'The Wild Hunt', a work drawing on the Celtic legend of the sluagh. Emma primarily writes speculative fiction, attempting to paint a realistic portrait of the world, but with a twist towards the uncanny or the supernatural. Her work has been published in various anthologies, including New Shoots and Zetetic, and she is currently revising the manuscript of a novel. After graduating this year, Emma hopes to pursue writing professionally.
