Paul Crook

Paul Crook is a British contemporary artist who works principally in acrylics. His work reflects his fascination with the urban landscape, with places and spaces and what they represent to him in terms of his own personal experience. He enjoys painting as a process of adding and taking away, and uses an acidic colour palette in a very striking way. Paul Crook graduated with a BA in Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art, and then an MA Fine Art at Birmingham Polytechnic. He lives and works as an artist and art lecturer in Warwickshire, and his paintings have been exhibited widely both in the UK and internationally. Recently he has been awarded two national art prizes.
