ROGER PERKINS

THERE'S A RED HOUSE OVER YONDER

SCULPTURE

Sunday 10 February to Sunday 17 March 2019

Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 2 - 6 pm and open at other times by appointment. Please just contact us

Roger Perkins has been a professional sculptor for over forty years and has exhibited in the UK, Europe and the USA.

His work is frequently time-based installation and transient in nature, both in terms of material and subject matter. However, this current exhibition marks a departure from recent transient work, whilst continuing to investigate the fragility and mutability of Home.

Through three dimensional 'line drawings', which are intentionally fragile yet thoughtful, he explores expressions of the importance we place on the most basic of human needs - our relationship to our place of shelter.

His work is in a number of public museums and private collections and he has also received awards and grants towards projects in the UK and abroad.

He continues his practice in the hope that, at some point, the world will make some sense to him.
