David Trumble

David won the Dan Hemingway Prize in 2003 with his illustrated comic 'Climate.'

David Trumble is now a young director of acclaimed short films and music videos. He studied Film Production at the Arts University College Bournemouth, and his graduation film 'Eva' went on to win Best Student Film at the 2008 Newport International Film Festival.

His most recent short film 'The Shift' was premiered at a charity event for the Oxfordshire Community Foundation in April 2010, and is currently enjoying success on the UK film festival circuit. He regularly works with a close-knit crew of post-grad collaborators on various independent short films, professional music videos, and other media.

'Climate', David's winning entry for the prize, was published as a graphic novel in 2004 and very well received. David has also continued to utilize his artistic abilities in his professional life, and worked for two years as a political cartoonist for The Sun newspaper before continuing his career as an independent writer, illustrator, and film maker.

He is represented as a speaker in the USA by Eagles Talent Speakers Bureau.
