David Brankin
David is an emerging American writer of fiction from Chicago, Illinois. He studied English and Scottish Literature at the University of St. Andrews during Autumn, 2010. He won the Dan Hemingway Prize that year with his short story entitled 'Fedora.'
David’s short stories have appeared in Catch and Say What! magazines, respectively. Other awards include an honorable mention in the A. Eugene and Ella Stewart Davenport Literary Contest in 2010.
Currently, David resides in Galesburg, Illinois, completing undergraduate studies in Creative Writing and Music Theory at Knox College.
